C's Birthday Weekend
C's birthday was on Friday. She and G came to town for the weekend so we could celebrate! JM and J were here because it was their fall break from school. We enjoyed dinner out and then carrot cake at home that I made for her. I can't believe I didn't get a picture of that, though!
I love it when these four are home; it makes me very happy! They always make me laugh with their constant goings on!
She was just as precious and spunky then as she is now! Happy birthday, C! We love you!

Congratulations, C!
After the wedding, C and G moved to a nearby city and started their life together. C continued her job search there and on April 25 she started her new job as an attorney for our state! Congratulations, C! We are so excited to see what you do in your new role.

It was a beautiful night!
Notice the Obama magnets on the car; G's groomsmen brought those and thought they were hilarious since G is such a staunch Republican!

Reception Fun!
My mom looked gorgeous and had the time of her life!
Many more pictures to come!
Wedding Day Preparations
I love these shirts that C gave her bridesmaids with their monograms. They all wore them to get ready while at the salon on Saturday - great shot of these lovely ladies!
I just thought this one was fun!
Rehearsal Dinner
Rehearsal dinner was hosted by G's parents, and was absolutely perfect. This is C and G with hubs and our good friend, M, who is hubs of our good friend, K, wedding director. I didn't take many pictures at the rehearsal dinner because I was trying to be in the moment as much as possible. The rehearsal dinner just happened to be at the same restaurant that hubs and I had our rehearsal dinner at 29 years ago!
Wedding - Rehearsal
Friday at five was the wedding rehearsal. Here are the bride and her father, who was trying very hard to keep it together during his walk down the aisle!
Wedding Weekend - Friday Noon
This is a picture of C with her two flower girls and her junior bridesmaid at the bridesmaids' luncheon on Friday, February 1. C met these girls when she started law school and has babysat for them for years. They are precious and C is so thankful they were able to be in her wedding. I have more pictures from this event and will share those when I figure out where they are on my laptop! :-)
Wedding Weekend Recap - Thursday
The wedding weekend began on Thursday, January 31. Many of the bridal party ladies went to get manis/pedis. It was a relaxing start to a beautiful weekend!

Cocktail Party/Shower for C&G
The fun continued into the evening of January 5, as C's friend and matron of honor and our family friends, the L family, held a cocktail party and shower for C&G. It was a blessing to celebrate with friends and family the soon-to-be union of a very special couple.
Thank you, A and L family, for a wonderful time!

Happy New Year!
Every year is exciting in its own way, but 2013 has a special place in our hearts and in our home. It is the year our first child will become a bride - only 31 days until C and G are married! We are preparing for a much anticipated day full of JOY and are so very thankful!

Merry Christmas
We had a wonderful Christmas celebrating the birth of our Savior. We went to our church's Christmas service on Sunday. Then, we attended our traditional Christmas Eve breakfast for my husband's extended family that has been held for over fifty years. And, last night we had my family over for our Christmas Eve dinner. This morning, we had the pleasure of having had our very soon to be son-in-law stay overnight and experience "Santa" with us for the first time.
My three sons!
