After Christmas Ski Trip

Two days after Christmas, we left for our annual ski trip with the L family. The picture below was one from our first ski trip together. Oh, what sweet memories this brings to mind.

They sure have grown up over the years we have been traveling together. We have created a lot of memories. We are blessed!

Christmas 2013

Christmas when your children are grown is very different than when they are up at the crack of dawn so excited that Santa has come. But, it is still a very special time at our house. And, this year, with the addition of G to our family, we got to celebrate with everyone here on Christmas morn.  I adore these people and cherish the time we have together.  I love how they indulge me by wearing matching pjs and letting me take their picture in them!

Celebrating T!

The very next weekend in November the ladies in our family went down to the beach to celebrate my sister-in-law's end of year long breast cancer treatment! It was a beautiful weekend at the beach full of lots of love and laughter.(good food, too!)

My mom was on cloud nine all weekend with her girls in one place together, which doesn't happen nearly as often as we all would like.

T, my sister-in-law, did so well during her treatments and continues to be one of the most optimistic people I know! We could all learn a lot from her.

This little lady below kept us on our toes and laughing at her antics! She is my nephew's little girl and totally precious.

JM's 21st Birthday!

I am SO behind in my blogging. JM celebrated his 21st birthday on November 13th! I cannot believe this guy is 21 and only has one more year of college to go.

JM, I am so happy you were born!

Our family would like to wish you a very, merry Christmas! We are blessed beyond measure by the love we share and the relationships we hold dear.  God is good, all the time. Merry Christmas, indeed!

C's Birthday Weekend

C's birthday was on Friday.  She and G came to town for the weekend so we could celebrate!  JM and J were here because it was their fall break from school.  We enjoyed dinner out and then carrot cake at home that I made for her.  I can't believe I didn't get a picture of that, though!

I  love it when these four are home; it makes me very happy!  They always make me laugh with their constant goings on!

She was just as precious and spunky then as she is now! Happy birthday, C!  We love you!

NYC

Hubs and I took JM and J to NYC for a few days in July.  C and G had to work and couldn't join us.  We had a lot of fun in the big apple! Spiderman was on the agenda, which was chock full of stunts and flying.  We ate way too much good food! One of my favorite spots is Sarabeth's for breakfast.  Dinner one night was at Quality Meats on 58th Street, so delicious!

Traveling with these three is always an adventure!
